Children’s Ministry
Oak Park’s Children’s Ministry’s goals are to introduce kids to Jesus, teaching them how to have a growing relationship with Him, and how to find and follow His plan for their lives. We provide classes for all children from newborn to 5th grade. Each class has dedicated teachers that will teach them about God’s love through relevant Bible stories.
We have Children’s Church at 11am on Sunday mornings during the regular Worship Service. These classes include: worship songs, a Biblical lesson, snack time, and a craft or game time. On Wednesday nights starting at 6:30pm the children are welcome to our Twelve Weeks of Fall program! This weekly ministry includes a Bible lesson, music, game time in our gymnasium, and an activity based off the lesson from that night. Meals are provided for the children each week.
We work hard to ensure the health and safety of all of our students. Outside entries are locked during services and remain locked until the end of services for safety protocols. Each student is required to be checked-out by a parent or legal guardian until they can leave the classroom. Each classroom is cleaned each week between meetings.
Some of the events we have for our Children’s Ministry throughout the year include: our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Church Camp, Trunk or Treat, Back to School Bash, swimming pool parties, and more! We would be thrilled to have your children come be a part of our Children’s Ministry to feel loved, be safe, learn about Jesus, and have a blast all at the same time!
